monsterPB ("we," "our," or "us") is a pickleball community app operated by Heliotrope Development LLC. monsterPB helps players find courts, check in, and report court conditions. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the monsterPB mobile application and related services.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and any optional profile information you provide (display name, skill level, home city, gender).
We collect your device's location to show nearby pickleball courts and calculate distances. Location is used only while the app is in use and is not stored on our servers beyond what is needed to serve your request.
We collect information about how you use the app, including court check-ins, busyness reports you submit, venues you view, and app activity. This data is used to power the app's community features and improve accuracy.
We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for debugging and analytics purposes.
If you opt in to push notifications, we collect your device's push token to deliver alerts (e.g., court availability updates). You may opt out at any time through your device settings (Settings → Notifications → monsterPB).
The free version of monsterPB displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and other information to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings:
Upgrading to monsterPB Plusremoves all advertisements. Google's privacy policy applies to AdMob data: policies.google.com/privacy
Subscription purchases are processed by RevenueCat and fulfilled through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not store your payment card information. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies: revenuecat.com/privacy
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
Public check-ins and busyness reports you submit are visible to other app users according to your privacy settings. You can set your check-in visibility to Friends Only or Private in your profile settings.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the app (Settings → Delete Account), which permanently removes all associated data from our systems within 30 days.
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and secure cloud infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
monsterPB is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
California Residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of your data, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
